ANGER

As the saying goes, “anger is just a feeling that makes our mouth run faster than our brain”.

When I first came across that, I laughed so hard that I laid back in bed and started imagining and thinking about myself.

Honestly after taking some time to ponder, I realis it is true. Because we end up saying things that when given the time to think about it before saying it when angry they are words that will end up on the inside.

But due to how our emotions are at that point in time, the only thing that works best and takes the wheel is our mouth and not our brain. The mouth ends up delivering all that the emotions tell it.

Anger is a negative feeling that blocks every sense of reasoning, it blocks every sense of care or consideration and it’s like a wildfire that easily spreads across your region.

Anything that comes in contact with, it consumes and consumes even the carrier. It leaves nothing on the inside nor spare anyone.

Funny enough anger affects those that are not even involved in the cause of it because at that point in time the person carrying it is also blind. Anyone or anything that comes across it consumes.

How terrible but it’s quite unfortunate only when it is quenched can the damage be noticed. And it is always not good because negative begets negative. No two ways about it. One can’t squeeze lime and expect sweet taste from it so also, one can’t burn out with anger and expect laughter at the end of it.

I know some people can be annoying at times but everything goes down to you because you who are getting angry are always at the receiving end.

You’re the one to suffer the pain, you’re the one to suffer most of the effect after the burn out.

Just remember there will always be those that hardly put themselves in one’s shoes and being inconsiderate, there will always be those that will make you feel offended that is why this word PATIENCE needs to be put to use at all times.

There’s this experience I had with someone I once stayed with for quite a number of months. The person was like whenever I’m offended, I should express myself and do all the shouting and quarrelling I want to do.

I just smiled and said if I’m to do as you just said I will end up being like a mad person because your offences are numerous and almost every day.

One thing again it’s not to every error that we have to react to. Some offences are best not given attention to and to some there are better ways of handling it without setting the fire out.

Above all, what matters is your state at the face of every situation and after because anger is a disease while a peaceful heart and sound mind is healthy to your body.
