Everyone at some point in time has a burning desire to do something.
Some still have that burning sensation, some are at the verge of being put out and some are striving to keep it burning.
When the desire sets in, that feeling is not a guarantee that it will journey with you through achieving what you have developed desire for.
At some point in time that burning sensation is going to get weak or even die down.
If that happens then what?
What happens to what you want to achieve, what you want to build, what you want to create, what you want to establish? What happens to it all?
When you get to have a desire to do something, it shouldn’t stop at just having the desire and then start up with the feeling as what drives you or as what fuels your progress – a time will come it might run out and end up struggling to refuel it.
When desires set in, one needs to define, lay a plan and walk through it.
When that is set, let the burning sensation be put out, you will still have something to hang on to that will keep you moving.
What could that be? The fact that you have a clear definition of what you are into and the fact that you already have a lined-up plan to walk through.
Discouragement might set in as the journey goas, at some point in time you might feel sapped and want to just lay everything aside and give it a break – challenges do occur when things are being built, created or established but what keeps you moving is not only the burning sensation to do the work but the fact that you have a well-defined goal at hand.
Brilliant ideas have died down, things that were once established have been abandoned, not because it can’t continue to run but simply because that burning desire to venture into it and make it work along the line ran out.
So, the energy to keep going is no longer there. The mind to put in the required effort has become weak. Every sense of reasoning to see it through has become covered by dust and smoke.
Run not only with a burning desire – make sure you define and have a clear plan of what you want to run for.
With a blueprint at hand you can reach the end.
