VENGEANCE!!!

Consumed by its flames, flooded by its forceful waves and being drowned by it.

It leaves one beneath the water or in the flames.

It’s something that those that wallow in it have no idea it is affecting them in all ramifications.

Flames leave nothing but spots or ashes of what it has consumed. Finding yourself flooded and drowned means the water is beyond control and above your level thereby being left with the ability to gasp for air because you can’t breathe under water.

Vengeance is like a flame that consumes and vengeance is also like a water that is out of one’s control and above one’s level.

When you keep the rage of vengeance, it turns into a flame that burns you and the person or people you are trying to take vengeance on. The rage of vengeance makes you feel you need to drag whomever it may concern down to the deep where you are so the person can also drown.

One thing with vengeance is that it feeds you with a false feeling that overflows and overrides your thinking faculty. It makes you feel when you take action of vengeance YOU WILL DERIVE SATISFACTION – that is a BIG DECEPTION. It only works on those that are in the same boat with those that hurt them or in the same boat with those that have a dead conscience or a dead heart.

Feeling you will derive satisfaction it only ends with grief, guilt and a bigger vacuum. That satisfaction you are looking for can never be found in vengeance. The way to find it is parallel to each other.

Many wonder why they still feel the way they were feeling before taking revenge. It's because that peace, that comfort, that fulfillment they are looking for lies in forgiveness.

Thinking if you drag someone into feeling the way you are feeling, that pain that makes you feel your heart is being torn apart or that pain that is making you angry will make you feel at ease it’s a deception that one can only realize after falling into the act if careful thought is not given to it.

Some will say it's better to let all get consumed or get drowned by the feeling of pain because I can’t suffer alone.

A question for you… What will be the gain when it can’t change anything? Rather, the flame will keep burning, every pain and wound will be fresh anytime a thought of it comes up. You will be bound by it like a chain tied around your neck squeezing every windpipe that needs to allow you breath and make your heart function.

Letting go is not foolishness neither is it weakness. Letting go is saving yourself – your sanity, your health and your life in general.

Sometimes it is the hardest thing to do when one looks at the gravity of the offense. But whichever way vengeance is not a smooth road to take because it will also affect you. It is not only the person you are trying to hurt or the people you are trying to hurt that will only suffer the pain while you get a relief, you are also in the same boat with them and what happens to that boat also affects you not just them.

I ask again, of what profit is it when it also affects you and doesn’t change anything? Never forget, Vengeance is not yours so don’t take things into your hands.
